Ingredients
Button Mushroom - one packet (150 Gms)
Onion - cut into small pieces one
Tomato - half
Sambar powder - one and half tea spoon
Coconut - one small piece
Mustard – To fry
Split Black Gram – To fry
Curry Leaves – To fry
Oil – As required
Salt - As required
Cooking Method
1. Clean the mushroom and cut into small (tiny) pieces.
2. Grind coconut as paste.
3. Place cooker on the stove in medium heat.
4. Add some oil and fry the mustard and split black gram with curry leaves
5. Put onion and tomatoes and sauté for few minutes.
6. Add the coconut paste and pour water one cup (100 ml)
7. Now add the mushroom and remaining sambar powder.
8. Close the cooker, wait for two whistle and leave for another five minutes.
9. After cooling open it and serve
This will taste as mutton kuzhambu... so that we can call it as
Veg mutton kuzhambu also as our children call it in our home.
